Grub control

Grubs can destroy a lawn within a short amount of time. We won't let that happen. Our Grub control program will stop them before they can cause damage. The third application in our program includes Merit an insecticide used to control a variety of white grubs.

Symptoms

The symptoms are brown patches, irregular in shape, in late spring or early fall. Dead patches roll back easily, like a section of carpet. Birds, Moles, raccoons, and skunks may damage a lawn looking for grubs.

Lime Application

The Ph level of your soil can affect the quality of your lawn more than any one other single issue.   Grass needs a soil Ph around 6.5 to grow correctly if the level drops below 6 it inhibits the grass from acquiring the nutrients that it needs to properly grow.  A soil test is needed to determine what the Ph level of the soil is and it can be fixed with semiannual applications of pelletized limestone.
