Lawn rejuvenation

Mechanical Core aeration

Aeration in used to improve the health and beauty of the lawn.  Aerating optimizes root development and reduces thatch allowing the lawn to become more resistant to disease, insects, drought and heat stress.  Core aeration also helps to reduce the amount of water that an established lawn needs throughout the year saving you money.

Power raking and dethatching

Power raking and dethatching removed the layer of thatch that can accumulate on top of the soil. Thatch can choke grass diminishing its ability to grow and become thick.  Thatch also impedes water from reaching the roots and is a breeding ground for disease and insects.

Seeding

Over seeding can be performed in the Spring or Fall but the best results normally come in the Fall.  We use a high quality turf type grass seed.  Either Kentucky Blue Grass or Tall Fescue can be used as well as creeping red fescue for those shady areas.
