What The Work Looks Like.
Crews roll out of our Grain Valley shop in the morning and run routes across the eastern Kansas City metro — Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Independence, Oak Grove and the surrounding communities. Most days are spent outside on residential yards, commercial grounds and HOA common areas.
The season shapes the job. Spring through fall is mowing, bed maintenance, shrub trimming, aeration and irrigation work. October through December shifts toward leaf cleanups and holiday lighting installs. Winter brings snow and ice management on commercial sites, including overnight calls when a storm rolls in.
You do not need years of green industry experience to start. You do need to show up on time, take care of the equipment, treat customers' property like your own, and be willing to learn. We train the rest.

- Dependable. Small crews mean one person missing changes everyone's day. Showing up matters more than anything else on this list.
- Detail-minded. Clean edges, blown-off walks, gates closed behind you. The finish is what customers notice.
- Comfortable outdoors. Missouri heat in July, cold in January, and plenty of physical work in between.
- Good with people. You'll talk to homeowners and property managers on site. Friendly and honest goes a long way.
